Saudi Arabi Alzahrani, Abstract:Aim: This survey analysis investigated indevisuals’ knowledge herbal medications to treat common respiratory viral infections. Methods: A self-administered, structured questionnaire was sent the public online, including questions on responders’ demographics about different their use executed through SPSS program. Results: Four hundred eighty-six individuals responded this questionnaire; 89.92% responders were from west area, 56.49% in age group between 18 30. The most used for infections honey 364 (78.79%), lemon juice 327 (71.24%), followed by Ginger 288 (64.43%) Mint 292 (64.04%%) While least medicine Sambucus nigra 26 (6.09%) Licorice (6.68%). not known among 147 (34.43%), Sugarcane 136 (31.48%), Radish 135 (31.47%%). Herbal medicines usages significantly higher males, except cloves miswak; females. Retired (p value<0.001), high income (p-value<0.001), non-healthcare professionals (p-value=0.003), 51 60 years old married (p-value<0.001) all had level survey’s reliability tested Mac 0.96, Cronbach 0.958, Gultman 2 0.961, 6 0.973. Conclusion: Arabia is inadequate. Awareness general should be improved.
